At Trois Pitons Colo, days are fun-packed, with tons of on and off site activities led by our experienced supervisors
Arts & Crafts, Playground Games, Cooking, Singing, Orienteering are just a few of the many engaging activities your child will take part in. Aside from these daily activities we also organise a number of workshops with outside ‘experts’ who deliver their specialist subject with added enthusiasm.
Every year we welcome children aged between 4 – 12 years, of varying linguistic abilities into our programme.
Our unique mix of activities, workshops and games allows children to feel at ease speaking French and therefore learn more.
All staff are native French speakers and hold a BAFA (Brevet d’Aptitude aux Fonctions d’Animateur) which is a French Diploma for Youth leaders and camp supervisors, they are all have enhanced DBS (formally CRB) clearance and ALL undergo a rigorous interview process in order to join our team. It is this careful selection process that helps gives us the confidence that we have truly the best team to enhance your child’s French-speaking summer experience.
The children engage in activities specifically focusing on the creative arts.
They will have the opportunity to interact with others during the learning process, not just verbally but through engaging their physiology.
In this way, we are able to appeal to a range of learning styles.
With specialist teachers delivering quality dance, drama and drumming workshops children cannot help but be enamoured with the new language and culture they are discovering.
Children like to move! We want your children to thoroughly enjoy the experience at Trois Pitons Colo and so we provide many opportunities for them to do just that.
Whether it is exploring the local woods or participating in a streetdance workshop, we get our children moving, having fun and learning!
Discovering the natural world around them, helps to bring the language learning and the vocabulary the children acquire to life.
It is a much more fulfilling experience to see a butterfly or tree or the clouds through the treetops, than to simply study picture in a text books.
We take children to local wildlife centres, zoos and local forest to
support the immersive learning process.
Sometimes weather in the UK doesn’t live up to our optimistic expectations.
At Trois Pitons Colo we are fully prepared and ensure that we have lots of fun things to do inside.
We encourage children to create their own games and have lots of creative activities to help them having and enriched and enjoyable experience.
